Frequently Asked Questions — HFD Ministries

1. What is HFD Ministries all about?
HFD Ministries exists to help people walk in freedom, identity, and wholeness through the finished work of Jesus. We focus on sonship, truth-based freedom, and inner healing, without striving, battling, or putting any attention on the enemy.

2. Do you still offer one-on-one sessions?
Yes, we currently offer limited ministry sessions designed to guide people into personal encounters with Jesus. These are not traditional "deliverance" sessions but peaceful love encounters rooted in the finished work of the cross that bring healing and freedom.

3. What is the HFD Ministries Resource Hub?
The Resource Hub is a free collection of teachings, documents, and videos to help you understand your identity, overcome spiritual roadblocks, and step fully into sonship. We believe everyone should have access to these tools at no cost, so much of our material is freely available.

4. Is there a cost to join the Resource Hub or Discord community?
No, most teachings and resources are completely free. Donations are welcomed but never required. However, there are sections of the Discord Community that are membership based.

5. Can I book a session if I’ve already been through deliverance elsewhere?
Absolutely. Many come to us after realizing traditional deliverance type sessions didn't bring the lasting freedom they hoped for. Our sessions focus on identity, truth, and agreement with what Jesus already finished, thus bringing lasting transformation, healing, and freedom.

6. What can I expect in a ministry session?
We don't do formulas, rituals, methods, or confrontational deliverance. Instead, we create space for Jesus to meet you, speak truth, bring healing/freedom, and reveal what’s already done. It’s a peaceful, Spirit-led time designed to build your confidence in His finished work and bring lasting transformation.

7. Do you offer training for those who want to minister to others?
Yes, we offer resources like books, video teachings, courses, and re-occurring discipleship groups to equip others in ministering from a foundation of truth, identity, and finished work revelation.

8. Where can I get your books and other materials?
All of our books are available on Amazon, and digital teachings and resources can be accessed right here on our website under the Resource Hub tab or Shop page. The books that are currently available are older resources that will soon be replaced with new books. The older books will stay available because they still serve a purpose that the Lord can use.

9. How can I support the ministry?
You can support HFD Ministries through prayer, sharing our resources, partnering financially, or giving a donation if you feel led. Donations and partnerships help keep all content free and accessible to everyone. You can find all the ways to partner or donate on the partner page.

10. I’ve heard you talk about sonship. What does that mean?
Sonship means stepping into your true identity as a son or daughter of God, resting in His love, and no longer living with an orphan mindset of striving, fear, or rejection. It’s the foundation of lasting transformation and freedom.

11. How do I join the online community on Discord?
We offer a free community on Discord where you can connect, ask questions, and grow with others. The link is available in the Resource Hub.

12. Do you offer deliverance ministry?
We no longer use the term "deliverance" in the traditional sense. We guide people into agreement with truth, which naturally brings freedom—without giving darkness more credit and power than it deserves, because darkness has no power anymore.

13. Can I use your materials to help others?
Absolutely! Our heart is multiplication. You're welcome to use our resources to minister to others, as long as it aligns with sharing the finished work of Jesus and truth-based freedom. Although please use integrity; some of our resources are materials that we have available for purchase, so we ask that you do not share purchased digital material that someone else has not purchased. And please do not use any of our free material online without giving credit where credit is due. Thank you.

14. What if I’ve already been through counseling or inner healing but still feel stuck?
You’re not alone. Many people come to us after years of counseling, deliverance, or inner healing but still feel something’s missing and have found lasting transformation, healing, and freedom.

15. Is your approach to inner healing and freedom different from traditional spiritual warfare/deliverance?
Yes. We believe in honoring the finished work of the cross. Instead of fighting for freedom, we guide people into agreement with what Jesus has already accomplished. True freedom comes from understanding your identity and resting in His victory. The truth will set you free. This doesn't mean that we don't cast out demons or do inner healing because we do, but our focus is on Jesus, His finished work, sonship, and the love of the Father that brings lasting healing and freedom.

16. Are your sessions only for believers, or can anyone come get a session?
Our sessions are designed for those who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus and understand their identity in Him. If you’re open to encountering Him and learning about His finished work, you’re welcome here. Even if you are an unbeliever and are curious, you are welcome to book a session and talk with us. Most people who come for a session are struggling in an area of their life or are feeling stuck and we facilitate a love encounter with Jesus for them. How could someone have an encounter with Jesus and not be changed!?

17. Can I share your documents, videos, or teachings with others?
Yes! We encourage you to share our free resources. The more people hear the truth about the finished work of Jesus, sonship, identity, and freedom, the more lives can be transformed. All we ask is that you don’t sell or alter the materials, and please give credit if using them for whatever reason.

18. How can I stay updated with new teachings or resources?
The best way to stay connected is to sign up to the newsletter, but you can also subscribe to our YouTube channel, join our Discord community, and keep an eye on the Resource Hub. New teachings, documents, and group opportunities are added regularly.

19. What if I can’t afford to give — can I still use the resources?
Absolutely. Most everything in the Resource Hub, including documents, teachings, and videos, is free for anyone to use. Donations/partnerships/memberships are completely optional and help us keep everything accessible to everyone.

20. What if I have more questions?
If your question isn’t answered here, feel free to reach out through our contact form on the website, or email us at info@holyfiredisciples.com, join the Discord community, or explore the teachings in the Resource Hub. Chances are, you’ll find what you’re looking for along the way.

21. After reaching out, how long will it take to hear a response?

Please allow up to a week to hear a response when sending an email. We receive a high volume of emails and it takes time to get through them. Please give us some grace here. If you do not hear a response within 7 business days, please email us again. The best way to contact is via email.

22. What's the best way to contact HFD Ministries?

The best way to contact the ministry is to email the main ministry email which is info@holyfiredisciples.com - this is for contacting Mason Ledbetter for any reason or for any inquiries. You can also reach out to each of HFD Ministers at their own email addresses which can be found on the "book a session" page, or the "resource hub page of the website. The best and most efficient way to contact us is by email. Reaching out to us on social media or any other method of contacting us is not a very good way to contact us and may not get a response.

23. Is there a long waitlist for getting a ministry appointment?

Each minister will be different. Currently we have three ministers taking appointments and each minister will have a different level of availability. The best way to find out is to email the minister you trying to book an appointment with. You can find their emails on the "book a session" page, or the "resource hub" page of the website.
