The Real Gospel - A Father Who Won't Let You Go

I know what it’s like to hear about God and still feel distant.
To believe He’s real - but wonder if He actually wants you.
To know all the right words - and even know all the Bible stories.
I’ve been there.
I thought the gospel was that Jesus saved me from hell.
I thought that because He saved me from hell, I had to live right, I had to try hard enough, I had to somehow prove myself, and I had to check all the right boxes. I thought I had to now live holy, and righteous, and make sure I didn't mess up.
But that’s not the gospel. That’s religion.
The real gospel is this:
There’s a Father who’s been waiting for you so patiently.
And He has never stopped waiting.
He's never stopped pulling on you little by little.
Jesus didn’t just come to forgive you — He came to bring you home to the Father.
To show you what love really looks like.
To lead you into the arms of a Father who is love - who will never leave you, never hurt you, and never hold your past over your head, or any of your faults or failures.
Maybe you never had a dad who showed up.
Or maybe you did - but it still left something missing.
God wants to be the Father your heart always needed.
He’s not asking you to clean yourself up first.
He’s not a scorekeeper.
He’s standing at the gate - arms wide open - just waiting for you to come and embrace Him, and let Him love on you.
And when you do...
He’ll run to you.
He’ll embrace you.
He'll pour His love into you.
And He’ll call you His.
You've always been His.
This is the real gospel.
It’s not just about salvation.
It’s about coming back home.
It's about understanding who you really are.
It’s about love that never lets go no matter what.
It's about a loving relationship with the Father.
Are you ready to come home?
